Equal Rights for Everyone

Throughout history many women have been fighting for equal rights. Starting in 1923, Alice Paul, the leader of the NWP, wrote the first wrote the Equal Rights Amendment (3).

A few years earlier, the 19th amendment had been passed to let women vote, but women still did not have complete equal rights. The Equal Rights Amendment would guarentee equal rights for men and women.
